Vote For “Front Line Defenders” Human Rights Project

Front Line Defenders is the International Foundation for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders. It works to provide fast and effective action to help protect human rights defenders at risk so they can continue their work as key agents of social change.

Front Line Defenders was founded in Dublin in 2001 to protect human rights defenders at risk, people who work non-violently for the rights of others. It provides rapid and practical support to at-risk human rights defenders, including: – grants for digital, physical and organizational security – 24-hour hotline in Arabic, English, French, Spanish and Russian – international advocacy – temporary relocation of human rights defenders in emergency situations – international and local media attention with the aim of further legitimizing the work of HRDs at risk.

The project entered a competition called “Better Together” (an award for Irish NGOs), so you can VOTE every day for Front Line Defenders, until November 20. You just need to open the link and press “Vote now”.
